landscape design
The following steps form the
fundamental parts of our Design Process
1. Site Assessment
designer introduction | client ideas collected | site analysis conducted
Upon the initial meeting, we acquire a brief from the client to understand their requirements of the landscape, and assess the demands of the site. We combine these requirements with a functional analysis to further understand the intended use of the space. Our findings, paired with the client requirements, are used to create a garden which compliments the structural characteristics of the home, creating a unified and unique, private property.
2. Concept Phase
brainstormed ideas consolidated | focus on function | client and designer collaboration
The Concept Landscape Design brings together the various solutions developed through critical thinking, with a strong emphasis on the layout, form, and function of the garden.
Plans are presented alongside 3D sketches and Moodboards of inspirational images, to express the design in a tangible form. During this stage we discuss relevant planning approvals needed to achieve the proposed design.
Throughout the presentation, we aim to educate our clients on the best possible outcome for their space and encourage feedback to ensure they feel heard and understood.
3.Final Phase
our gardens are designed to be built | holistic and realistic understanding of the proposal
Refined ideas from the collaborative Concept Phase, forms the Final Landscape Design. Our clients will gather a deeper understanding of the garden proposal, as we provide further construction information, material finishes and planting suggestions. At this stage, we define the overall aesthetic of the design, which aligns with each client's unique style and personal preferences. With this plan, clients are able to receive landscape construction quotes.
